Many people are of the opinion that Ghanaian musicians are only popular within the shores of Ghana. But statistics on the ground suggest otherwise.
The likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are known globally and this goes a long way to solidify their brand.
However, I personally think it’s pathetic that despite the numerous artistes we have in Ghana, only the aforementioned artistes are recognized.
Now, a Canadian-based Ghanaian artistes has just reinforce the foregoing subject by saying the only popular musicians in Canada are Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, KiDi, Kuame Eugene and Bhim Nation boss, Stonebwoy.

The eccentric musician, known by her stage name as Pauli B revealed this during an an interview with with celebrity blogger, Zionfelix.
When asked if Ghanaian rapper M.anifest is known by the Ghanaian community in Canada, Pauli B could not provide a quick answer.
She only manage to say, ‘I can’t really say that.’
The songstress however admitted she’s crazy about M.anifest’s songs but disclosed that she does not hear his songs in Canada often so cannot be compared to the five musicians she named.
