Nigeria’s decorated afrobeat singer and songwriter, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex, known professionally as Burna Boy Burna Boy has won the prestigious 2020 BET award for BEST INTERNATIONAL ACT.

He emerged the winner on Sunday night after facing stiff competition from colleague singers such as Stormzy, Dave, both UK based, Ninho and S.Pri Noir(France), Sho Madjozi(South Africa) and Innoss’B(DRC).

The show which was organized virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus saw Burna Boy win his second BET best international act in a row as he won it last year 2019. It’s safe to say the African giant will forever win should he be nominated always due to his creativity and work output.
