It is no secret that Nigeria’s music sensation Patoraking has gained much prominence in Ghana, Nigeria and all over Africa with his unique talent which has culminated in relatively hits songs. His music was nurtured in Ghana; hence Ghanaians are proud he is living up to his dream. He has collaborated with lots of the heavyweights in Ghana and has been winning some awards here and there.
In his native country Nigeria, lots of his fans still believe he is underrated whilst Burna boy is overly hyped. This assertion was borne out of a recent comparison done by television giant, MTV
Base to which the latter has threatened to block MTV on his social media platform, a situation that has send tongues wagging in Nigeria.
Burna Boy’s fans, after the seemingly harmless comparison, quickly jumped to his defence saying among other things the comparison was in a bad taste (meaning Patoranking nowhere near close to their hero).
Already people are reading between the lines. They believe sudden outburst of Burna Boy of boy underlines his paranoia of Patoranking.
