Ghana’s President Nana Addo-Dankwah Akufo-Addo has been advised by doctors to embark on a fourteen-day [14] precautionary self-isolation, starting Saturday, 4th July 2020.

A statement issued by the Information Ministry said ”the president has elected to do so after at least one person within his close circle tested positive for Covid-19 today,”

The statement added that ”He has, as today tested negative, but has elected to take this measure out of the abundance of caution,”

Meanwhile, the President during his isolation period, will be working from the Presidential Villa at the Jubilee house.
