A former judge of the Enugu State High court, Justice Stanley Nnaji has been shot dead by some unknown gunmen in the early hours of yesterday, May 30th 2021.

A video was shared by BarristerNG on Twitter showing how the former judge was dragged from his car by some unknown assailants and was shot three times. The video captured by another social media user saw how the judge’s car was stopped by the gunmen and dragged out on the street and shot three times.

Justice Nnaji was the judge of the Enugu State High Court until he was later dismissed following his role in the removal of Governor Chris Ngige, who was the governor of Anmabra State in 2007.

The death of the Enugu State High Court comes after a few hours after the former special Adviser on politics to president Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak was shot dead also by an unknown gunmen in owerri, Imo State.

According to reports, the Special Adviser of Jonathan Goodluck was on his way to Abuja from Owerri when he was also shot dead on Saturday night. It has been reported that some police operatives have been able to kill some of the unknown assailants who killed Ahmed Gulak. The recent killing in Nigeria has caused a lot of fear and panic amongst citizens in the country.
