President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the killing of farmers by Boko Haram terrorists in the Borno State describing it as ‘insane’.

About 43 farmers were beheaded by the terrorists sect at Zabarmari, in Jere Local Government of Borno State last Saturday.
In a statement issued by his spokesman Garba Shehu, the president also condemned the act and expressed grief over the killings.
Part of the statement read:
I condemn the killing of our hardworking farmers by terrorists in Borno State. The entire country is hurt by these senseless killings. My thoughts are with their families in the time of grief. May their souls Rest In Peace.”
