Boko Haram terrorists have given a discount to enable some abductees secure their freedom in Adamawa State.
According to reports, the 52 abductees consisting of women and children were kidnapped in Kwapre village in the Hong Local Government Area.
The village head of Kwapre, Joel Kulaha, said that “called to give us a discount of N2 million out of the N30 million demanded earlier.
“Accordingly, they have demanded that we pay them N28 million ransom before our people would be released. “We don’t have N28 million ransom to pay, that’s why we’re appealing to the government to come to our aid. “We are really pleading because it’s been one month now since 52 persons including women and children were forcibly taken from this community,” he said.

Usman Yarda, Abenego Bitrus, Naptali Gabriel, Saidu Dauda, Silas Apolos and Jonah Gayus were among some of the leaders of the community who appealed to the government for assistance.
In another news, Nigerian Army arrested 13 suspected Boko Haram members in Kano, meanwhile the family members of the arrested persons have denied their connection with the sect.
According to the family of the arrested members, they are real businessmen and students who have resided in the city for quite a long time.
There was a raid on a mosque and homes in Hotoro axis of Kano State last Saturday by the Nigerian Army which resulted in the arrest of 13 persons supposed to be members of the notorious Boko Haram sect.
