Gospel artiste, Gifty Osei who is widely known as Empress one has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The lady does not seem to know what to say when and what not to say.
It is either she is donning some sort of apparel that makes her appear like a masquerade or she is ranting on social media on a non-relevant topic with her irritably locally acquired foreign accent what we call the LAFA.
Weeks ago, she made headline yet at the back of a statement she made. Gifty was reported to have said she would be the first female Ghanaian gospel artist to win a BET— yes! you read right!
The lady in an interview has made a U-turn on that statement. According to her, she did not say that and what she said has been misconstrued.
The message she claims she wanted to put across was to propel her colleague’s artists to strive for international recognition.
On her nomination, she also boomed with confident just like Joyce Blessing and said, she will take the award home. We will just wait for this one too.
