A blind couple’s tenacity has inspired social media users who have noth ing but kind words for them. The pair’s creativity even in blindness has held everyone spellbound.
The couple who are identified as Jimoh and Bridget Ogunlayi got married in 2014. Both of them are blind but that does not stop them from being successful in business.
Report suggests that none of them was born blind as Bridget attended the University of Nigeria (Nsukka), where she read computer science while, Jimoh went to the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo state and got a degree in social adaptation for people with impaired vision.
Jimoh lost his sight in 1993 in an accident while Bridget lost hers during treatment, a grave side effect of the drug given to her. It happened in 2008. Since that time they both have gone a long way.
This should potentially inspire able-bodied persons who claim there are no jobs and those who beg on the streets.
