Nigerian actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha is a movie producer who was born in Anambra State. She had her primary education at Onward Nursery and Primary School in Lagos.
For her secondary education, she went to the Federal Government Girls College in Onitsha. She schooled at Lagos State University studying Banking and Finance.
Chioma has played countless roles in Nollywood movies and regarded as the righteous woman who always protects her self-image hence the tag Virgin Mary of Nollywood. This is because she doesn’t star in adult movies or movies containing a bit of nudity.
She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for “Best Actress in a leading role” in 2007. Her husband is called Franklin Akpotha.
