Antonio Rudiger was spotted last night at the Kotoka International Airport with Avram Grant and some entourage. Later that night, the football star was spotted in accompany of Tema-based record music producer Killbeatz.

Antonio Rudiger won the prestigious UEFA Champions League with the London-based club but had a disappointing tournament with Germany at the ongoing Euro 2020 after Germany was knocked out at the Round of 16 of the tournament by England.

He will be the second Chelsea player to visit Ghana after his colleague Callum Hudson-Odoi came to Ghana a couple of weeks ago to spend his holidays with his friend and musician King Promise after winning the Champions League.

Reports indicate Rudiger is on a private visit with Avram Grant and they will be spending the rest of the week in the country before he rejoins his Chelsea teammates in Cobham for their pre-season tour.

Avram Grant on the other hand is not new to the Ghanaian environment as he coached the senior national men’s football team the Black Stars from 2014 to 2017. During his period as head coach, he took the team to one final at the CAF African cup of Nations in 2015 of which Ghana lost to their neighbors Cote D’Ivoire in a penalty shoot-out.
