In Amanda Acquah’s world, cash is the only thing which rules everything around her. Hence, if you want to be part of her domain, you have to emit the aroma of money. The estranged wife of Ghanaian footballer Afriyie Acquah, has revealed that she never dated a poor man in her life.
Speaking on Gh One TV’s Cheers, Amanda said right after breaking up with multimillionaire Kenpong (whom she met at the age of 17), she met her ex-husband Afriyie, who is also rich. Although no longer with him, Amanda made it clear to women who were listening to her to keep away from her “Monki” because he will always be hers.
“We met on Skype, I just saw him standing there looking so tall, I was just looking at his six packs and his thighs and I was like Oh this guy! You are not going anywhere you are mine… all the girls should know he is still mine forever.”
Explaining why she calls Afriyie “Monki”, she said it’s far from the mockery of his looks but a pet name they both agree on as Afriyie also calls her “Kusie“(Rat). She added “I even use to call Ken ‘Dzata’ (Lion) because he is very wild.”
Amanda Acquah trended for weeks last year when an audio file of hers leaked. She was heard on the leaked tape saying damning stuffs about her own husband, calling him a monkey who has no prowess in bed.
This caused a huge public outcry, with lots of people suggesting Afriyie Acquah should divorce her immediately. There has been no formal divorce but the Black Star player has totally cut off any connection with the wife.
