The president of the Republic, Nana Akufo Addo has directed the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat to give a full scholarship to one of the Senior High School graduates known as Thomas Amoaning.
The Free SHS graduate is a student of Adeiso Senior High School and had 8As in the 2020 West Africa Senior Schools Certificate WASSCE and has a dream of attending the University of Ghana.

A statement from the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, indicated that the background of the graduate has been taken into consideration by the president to offer him a scholarship.

The letter was signed by Kingsley Agyemang the registrar at the Secretariat stated that the family member of Amoaning has been contacted and a meeting is expected to be on Friday, November 27, 2020.
