Ghanaian movie star Ms. Lydia Forson has finally revealed the reason why she has been consistently criticizing the current Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.

The ‘screen goddess’ has been a constant critic of the current government for quite some time now over issues pertaining to energy, security, infrastructure, and the improving the lives of Ghanaians.
She revealed that the current government when in opposition made most Ghanaians believe through their campaigns and lectures that they are the solutions to the numerous problems the the country is facing.
She said this she believes motivated Ghanaians to vote for them in 2016 and 2020 presidential and parliamentary general elections but it seems they have failed the people as they haven’t kept the promises they made to the people when they were in opposition.
Ms Forson added that although the Nana Addo led government has introduced some good policies to enrich the lives of Ghanaians, they didn’t promise the people an ‘average’ performance but rather exceptional performance.
My biggest frustration with this government is that for years they sold themself as the solution to all of Ghana’s problems- but see. I do acknowledge that they’ve had some good policies; but you didn’t promise us average, you promised EXCEPTIONAL?!! So what happened?
Ms Lydia Forson has advised foot soldiers of the two main political parties NDC and NPP to be smart and make money for themselves rather than following politicians and singing praises for them.
