Respected veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has reacted to the recent incident of the two love birds who went viral on social media after the lady rejected the proposal from her boyfriend because he didn’t kneel to propose to her.
According to Pete Edochie, any man who kneels in the quest to propose to a lady is a bloody fool and an idiot. He made this known in a private interview which airs in an entertainment TV. He said “kneeling” is a borrowed culture and kneeling down for a woman, you have sold out your power and authority as a man to that woman,”.

“Any young man who gets down on his knees to propose to a woman is not just an idiot, he is a bloody fool, he is a compound born fool. The reason why I am saying this is because, we try to copy the white people, but I believe in the sacrosanct age of our culture, the essence, the core of our culture.”
“The white man kneels down to propose to a girl, you know what it means? The girl takes over the family. This is why whenever you disagree with your wife oversees, you are kicked out and your wife takes over. Don’t you people know that? For young men like you (speaking to the interviewer who faces was not revealed) who should be in charge of your destiny, you hand everything over to women, which makes you a fool.”

When told by the interviewer that kneeling is only a sign of love and nothing else, here is how he responded to that. I have lived with my wife for 51 years, nobody has come to say please stop beating this woman. Is it hatred that United us? It’s alright if you think it’s love. But kneel down before your wife, and I will sympathize with you when she takes over the home”.
