The incredible 998 staffers working at the Jubilee House, the seat of government has angered a cross section of Ghanaians, including outspoken social commentator and musician, A-Plus.
Since it emerged that the President Nana Akufo Addo has recruited total of 998 people working in various capacities at the Jubilee House, several Ghanaians have registered their pleasure in every way possible.
And A-Plus, who happens to be a staunch fanatic of the incumbent party, did not mince words at all when he described the action of the president as ‘nonsense.’
According to him, ex-president John Mahama was voted out of power because some of these ‘incompetence’ so he doesn’t undsertand why Nana Akufo Addo is towing the same line.
He wrote on Facebook:
“I went live of Facebook countless times to tell the world how tax payers money was being wasted on unwanted presidential staffers.”
“Fortunately we got the change we cried for. Instead of reducing the number to a reasonable one or at least maintaining the same number we increased it and told Ghanaians that we have added “only a little over 220.” “Most of them were appointed by Mahama.” Such nonsense. Did you call for change to continue Mahama’s “incompetence” or to make things better?”
