The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will go down live at the International Conference Centre on April 14 and expectations are very high already.

One of the awards that will be keenly contested is the New Artiste of The Year.

This award is given to a new entrant in the music industry who has made a massive impact.

The nominees for this year’s award include King Promise, B4Bonah, Kurl Songx, Kuame Eugene, Magnom and KiDI.

However inasmuch as all the above artistes deserve it, my bet is on King Promise to win it based on these 3 reasons I’ve outlined below:

#1. King Promise has more hit songs than the rest

King Promise has Double Trouble which ft Sarkodie, Oh Yeah, Hey S’exy ft Stonebwoy, and Selfish (my favourite). All these songs have received massive rotation on TV and radio. Don’t you think this is enough for him to grab this award?
