In 2019, Davido surprised Chioma with an expensive engagement ring and gave her a big ‘assurance’ that he will make her his wife in 2020.

However, it seems fans have waited in vain for the wedding bells to sound so they can also flow with the rhythm and revel in the couple’s joy after Davido came out to say there’s going to be no wedding after all in a fresh interview on Bounce Radio. Davido opined that the deadly global pandemic, Coronavirus (Covid-19) has thwarted his plans of getting married to the mother of his only son- David Ifeanyi Adeleke Jnr and thus we have to keep waiting for a new ‘assurance’ to be made.
“Corona messed up our wedding plans but I have decided sometime next year we will get married. Right now I want Chioma to focus on her brand and business.” Davido said during the interview.
