The rate at which people put religion before their family and lives is quite alarming. A video circulating on social media has got users fuming with anger on the decision of a father, refusing to do the right because of his religious beliefs.

In the video shared by an activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who met the parents to discuss why he has refused to allow the child receive medical treatment. The father, seen with his child ( Precious ) who doesn’t really seem to be that ” precious ” to the family especially him the father at this moment when she needs help.

The child suffers from Hydrocephalus, an imbalance between how much cerebrospinal fluid is produced and how much is absorbed into the bloodstream. When not treated, it can cause severe disability and death.
The father in his conversation with Harrison ruled out blood transfusion for his 1 year child because it’s against his religion.

He said
“We in Jehovah’s witnesses, we don’t take blood. I would not want to transfuse blood into the child. We will not accept blood transfusion. If in the course of surgery they would transfuse blood in the child, we would not want that. I don’t want my baby to die but that is our faith”
