Voluptuous Kumawood actress Tracey Boakye has revealed that she paid GHS2,000 as her contribution towards raising an amount of GHS420,000 for the filing and nomination fee of former President John Mahama.
The NDC, at its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday, 29 November at the party’s headquarters in Accra, resolved that all male flag bearer aspirants are expected to pay GHS400,000 as filing fee while female flag bearer-aspirants are to pay GHS200,000 and persons with disability aspiring to the same position are to pay GHS150,000.

Whilst The nomination forms are being sold at GHS20,000.
Meanwhile, Tracy Boakye who is a staunch supporter of Mahama said on Accra100.5FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo mid-morning show on Monday, 3 December 2018 that the filing fee “is cool”.
According to her, she paid on Sunday through the shortcode provided by the Mahama campaign team to help raise funds for the former President.

Furthermore, a group calling itself MPs4Mahama has rallied support to raise an amount of GH₵600,000 through its “Operation 420 people willing to contribute GH₵1,000 for JM”.
In a news contained in a report on classfmonline indicates that the group has so far raised GHS600,000 through its “Operation 420 people willing to contribute GHS1,000 for JM” campaign.
